2. Launch market
Subbo is intended for use in Australia only during the MVP launch.
3. What Subbo does
Subbo helps parents, guardians and members of sporting communities manage game-day duties and arrange duty coverage.
4. Child accounts and safety
A parent or guardian may create an invitation that allows a child to create a linked child account. The child must use the invite code and provide the information required to complete the invitation process.
Child accounts are linked to the parent or guardian who issued the invitation. Certain child actions, including offers to cover duties, may require parent or guardian approval before they become visible to other users.
Subbo does not provide open public child search, public child profiles or direct adult-to-child messaging.
5. Personal information we may collect
Depending on how Subbo is used, information collected may include:
- name and contact details;
- account login details managed through Firebase Authentication;
- club and team membership information;
- game-day, duty and duty-coverage information;
- information needed to create and manage linked child accounts, including birth year;
- parent-child account relationships and approval information;
- support requests; and
- technical information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
6. Information not used at MVP
At MVP, Subbo does not use advertising, does not process payments and does not track users' physical location.
7. How information is used
Information is used to operate Subbo, manage accounts and club participation, support duty-related workflows, manage child-account approvals, respond to support requests, maintain security, troubleshoot issues and improve the service.
8. Sharing of information
Personal information is not sold. Information may be shared where reasonably necessary to operate the service, provide duty-coordination features, use service providers supporting the platform, comply with legal obligations, or protect users, rights and safety.
9. Information visible to other users
Information required for duty coordination may be visible to relevant users within the sporting community. This may include a user's name, club or team connection, duty information and offers or requests associated with a duty.
Subbo is designed to minimise unnecessary disclosure of child information.
10. Service providers
Subbo uses Firebase and related Google services for functions including authentication, database services, backend functions and hosting.
11. Data security
Reasonable steps are taken to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
